Progress reporting, Plan Updates and Man Hour Management.

Catcher FPSO - Cooling Medium Cooler Expansion

Process Focal Point carrying out the following activities:

Checking and Approval of: Cooling Medium and Seawater System Hydraulic Analysis and Control Valve Sizing Review, Project P&IDs, Heat Exchanger Review, Operating Procedure Update.

Catcher FPSO Production Expansion Detailed Design

Process Engineering Focal Point for the Catcher FPSO Capacity Expansion Detailed Design Project.

Origination, checking or approval of P&IDs, Line List, Cause and Effect Diagrams (C&E's), Alarm and Trip Register, PSV Sizing Calculations and Data Sheets, Technical Notes, Updated Operating Procedure, Updated HP/LP Interface Report, Updated Relief and Blowdown Study Report (including updated FlareNet (Flare System Analyser) Model), Detailed Design Report.

Progress reporting, Plan Updates and Man Hour Management.


Catcher FPSO Capacity Expansion Project - Feasibility & Concept Study

Process Engineering Focal Point for the Catcher FPSO Capacity Expansion Project.

Review and development of improvement options within the oil and gas processing facilities to maximise operating throughput.

Study activities include Mass and Energy Balance, P&ID Development, HP/LP Interface Protection, Pressure Relief and Flare System Review. Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) Study and Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA), and Feasibility Study Report generation.

Bleo Holm Glycol Reboiler Replacement - Detailed Design

Process Engineering Focal Point for the Detailed Design phase of the Bleo Holm FPSO Glycol Reboiler Replacement Project.

Generation and checking of Engineering Deliverables: P&ID Development, Line List, A&T Schedule, Cause and Effect Diagrams, Operating Procedure, Review of Vendor Documentation, Technical Notes and Technical Query.

HAZOP & Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA) Review and Action Response. 

Commissioning and Decommissioning Support (Changeover Philosophy Development, Commissioning Procedure Support and Destruct P&IDs)  

 

Gryphon Alpha Late Life Operations Review

Process Engineering review of the Gryphon Alpha FPSO process, to minimising the financial expenditure until cessation of production (CoP).

Review and identification of areas where the process could be rationalised, either to minimise the ongoing maintenance, utility or chemical usage burden, and to minimise inefficiencies associated with flaring or excess power usage. 

Review maintenance classification of key safety and environmentally critical activities to assess requirement until CoP.  

 

Flotta Brit-Pipe Replacement Project - Detailed Design

Process Engineering Focal Point for the Flotta Brit-pipe replacement Project, replacing pipework within the Flotta Effluent Treatment Plant to allow continued process operation.

Activities include P&ID and Line List Generation, and Operating Procedure Update. 

Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) Study support and action response.

 

 

Fuel Oil Desulphurisation Screening Study

Process Engineering input to screening study to evaluate the chemical processing options and preliminary economics to carry out the desulphurisation of high sulphur fuel oil to produce a low sulphur fuel oil product.

 

Tartan De-commissioning Phase 1 - Detailed Design

Process Engineering support of the detailed design phase of the Tartan Oil and Gas off-shore platform decommissioning - Phase 1 project. 

P&ID generation, Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) Study support and action Response.

Jasmine Not Permanently Attended Installation (NPAI) - Detailed Design Project

Process Engineering Focal Point for the Jasmine Off-shore Platform Not Permanently Attended Installation (NPAI) Detailed Design Project.

Managing schedule and process engineering resources to meet project milestones.

Generation of Engineering Deliverables: P&IDs, Control and Operating Philosophy, Technical Notes, Operating Procedure updates.

Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) Study and Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA) Action Support.

 

Technical Support of Kinneil Oil and Gas Terminal

Around a 4 year period technically supporting the operation of the Fractionation, Flare, Firewater and Fuel gas systems. 

Responsible for managing and updating Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and Relief System documentation (RSRD).

Experienced in providing asset support to Plant Turnarounds (TAR's) and Plant Start-up's.

Sullom Voe Oil and Gas Terminal Rationalisation Project - Concept Study

Process Engineer and Study Lead for the concept design phase of the Sullom Voe Oil and Gas Terminal Rationalisation project.

Responsible for the Rationalisation of the Stabilised Crude Oil, Crude Loading, Jetties, Cooling Water, Stabilisation Train and Compression Train retiral and Rack Removal Studies.
